Privacy policy

StatFizz is an app and website made by The Pet WellBeing Company PTY LTD, an Australian company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information StatFizz uses, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
The short version
- You can use StatFizz without an account.
- If you sign in, we keep your email address (or the name and email Apple or Google share with us), and your Daily Fizz plays so your streak follows you between devices.
- We don't sell your information, we don't show ads, and we don't use advertising trackers.
- You can delete your account and its data at any time, in the app or at statfizz.com/delete-account.
What we collect

Who helps us run StatFizz
We use a few service providers who process information for us, under contract, only to provide their service:
- Supabase: our database, sign-in and servers.
- Resend: sends sign-in emails.
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and handles email to our support addresses.
- Apple and Google: sign-in with Apple or Google, app stores and payments.
- RevenueCat: keeps track of Fizz+ subscriptions.
These providers may store information outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Stat cards use public data from sources such as Wikidata and the World Bank. When StatFizz looks something up, it sends only the words you searched, never anything about you.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information until you delete your account. When you do, we delete your account, profile and Daily Fizz plays straight away; searches you made are kept without any link to you. Backups are overwritten within 90 days. Support emails are kept for up to two years.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example under the Australian Privacy Act, the EU or UK GDPR, or Californian law) you may have further rights, including complaining to your local privacy regulator. In Australia that is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Where the GDPR applies, we use your information to provide the service you asked for (contract), to keep StatFizz fair and working (legitimate interests, such as the free daily limit), and to meet legal duties.
Children
StatFizz is a general audience app. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we will delete the account.
Security
Information is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access controls, so each player can only read their own plays.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is important.
